Are You Open or Closed?
Yesterday evening I caught 1/2 hour of a television program about a guy who was tracing his family back through the years.
His journey took him to Australia where he met a Catholic Archbishop who had descended from the same grandparent. The Archbishop said something that had a profound effect on me, something along the lines:
“… this has opened up a whole new area of life for me”
Think about that for a moment. How many opportunities present themselves each day where you can choose to be “open” to a new idea, challenge, direction or to stay “closed” and carry on the same as normal. Just think about the millions of things that could change you whole direction in life if you let them:
- A chance meeting because you took a short cut…
- A conversation on a train…
- An article in a magazine…
- A blog post…
If you really want to succeed at something you MUST be open to letting things into your life because “Nothing Changes Without A Change” – Wizzer.
I can honestly say my life took (another) turn when I joined the 6M ProfitMethod. What will it be for you?
Great post Mark, what you are saying is so true and I am finding that the more I trust and be open the more opportunities are being presented.
Some a year or so ago I would not have looked at now, I know I am more open.
