Passionate Belief
Over at my other blog I posted today about a brilliant sales email I received from Joe “Mr Fire” Vitale Here’s a brief extract:
To give you a better idea of what this hypnotic state feels like, think about the last time that you saw the car of your dreams go by. You watched it in awe as it drives past you. Think about a house that you saw that is truly the house of your dreams.
Think back to when you first saw them. Think about that feeling it created in the pit of your stomach. The excitement, the awe, and the feeling as if time stood still at that very moment. You may have imagined yourself driving that car… or living in that house.
This ancient raw power can be harnessed and placed into one of your sales letters, creating these hypnotic trance-like states for your website visitors. The this power can now be yours.

Now, the reason for mentioning this here is that I got thinking about those images of cars and houses and how that’s EXACTLY what we need to do to get ourselves in the right state of mind to build our businesses. Total focus on something we want to achieve – hearing, feeling, smelling, touching – almost physically manifesting those things into our lives.
It’s no good just thinking “I want a fast car” It needs to be passionate -
“… a blood red, Ferrari with leather so soft and sensuous I never want to leave that cabin. The aroma of the soft hide fills the air as the V12 engine throbs and the glorious exhaust note rises, as like tethered stallions the whole car strains to get away, eagerly awaiting more pressure on the drilled metal accelerator pedal.
A crowd has gathered drinking in the scene, immersed in the beauty of the sleek lines of this beautiful Italian machine and I feel fantastic as I drive off in the warm summer sun”
Whoops, my bar has been raised – last week I wanted a Caterham 7!!

Yeah,
A Read Ferrari is still my dream, that I am going to realise some day.
Cheers,
Ulla
Good for you Ulla. It HAS to be red doesn’t it. Let me know when you get it. Mark
